Every Tile, Colored by Hand.
You’ve seen what happens to printed tiles — the color fades, the design scratches off, and within a few seasons they look tired. Not these. Every tile is engraved into the acrylic and filled by hand, color by color. It costs more and takes longer — and it’s why your set still looks new after years of weekly play.

What Players Say
Yes. A complete American Mahjong configuration with the 8 Jokers required by current NMJL play — authentic crak, dot, and bam coloring, ready for the current year’s card.
Solid and weighted enough to land with a proper click on felt. Each tile sits flat and slides smoothly. Not hollow plastic. The exact material is listed in The Specifications on this page.
Built into the tile, not printed on the surface — so the artwork doesn’t fade, scratch off, or wear thin. The Specifications section on this page describes exactly how this set’s artwork is made.
The full American Mahjong configuration with the Jokers current NMJL play calls for, plus spare tiles so a lost tile never ends your night. The exact tile count is listed in The Specifications on this page.

S
These tiles are a bit thicker than my old travel set. It took me a game or two to get used to the feel, but now I prefer them.
T
I was worried about damage during shipping, but it was packed in thick foam. Not a single scratch on the beautiful rose-pink backs.
B
Bought this for my MIL's birthday. She's a mahjong fanatic and she said these are the prettiest tiles she's seen in 30 years.
H
The acrylic gloss is so durable. We play every weekend and they still look brand new. No fading at all.
R
I stared at this in my cart for weeks because it's a splurge. No regrets at all. The quality is visible the second you open the box.
D
The tiles are beautiful and heavy. The only reason for 4 stars is that they fit very snugly in the trays, so you have to pack them back carefully.
M
I've been playing since I was a teenager. This is the kind of set you keep for decades and eventually pass down to your daughter.
L
You can actually see the brushstrokes in the floral designs. It feels very artisanal and high-end.
A
If you take your Mahjong seriously, this is the set to get. The acrylic finish is so smooth and slides perfectly across the felt.
G
The fairy joker designs are so unique and whimsical. My friends in our Tuesday group keep asking where I got this set!
S
The set is gorgeous and the tiles are 5-star quality. My only tiny gripe is that the case is quite heavy, but I guess that's because the tiles are solid.
J
Super impressed with the delivery speed. It arrived in perfect condition and the packaging felt like opening a luxury handbag.
C
I bought this as a Mother's Day treat for myself and I'm in love. The pastel pink is so sophisticated, not "bubblegum" at all.
M
I was hesitant because of the price, but these weighted tiles make such a satisfying "click" on the table. My old plastic set feels like a toy now.
F
Finally a mahjong set that actually looks good in my living room. It's more like a centerpiece than a game.
B
Gifted this to my mother who has played for 25 years. She says the weight of the tiles is perfect and the floral artwork is just stunning.
A
Love the new tiles, so gorgeous! But why don't you send a card on what the tiles represent? Took me a while to figure out what dragons go with the different suits…
Thank you, Jacqueline — and you're right, it should come with one.
Short answer on the dragons: the curling green vine tile is the Green Dragon and belongs to Bams; the winged rose-pink dragon is your Red Dragon and belongs to Craks; the empty Art Nouveau frame is the White Dragon, the Soap, and belongs to Dots.
I've made a one-page key to the whole set — every suit, the winds, the flowers and all eight Joker scenes — and emailed it to you. A printed card is going into the box for everyone else.
